The gameplay of the survival game Five Nights at Freddy's 3 is a bit different from the previous games in the series, with the timeline set 30 years after the events of the first game. More jumpscares, more surprises, and changes added to the Animatronics system.

ONLY ONE SPRINGTRAP

Once again, the player is tasked with surviving five consecutive nights, from midnight to 6 a.m., which is four minutes of real time. But this time, only one animatronic can attack and kill you, while the others from the previous game, such as Freddy, Chica, Foxy, will become Phantom Animatronics. They won't be able to hurt you anymore, but they can hinder your efforts to survive until the sun rises up.

There will be two security camera systems, placed in the hallways as well as the rooms to monitor the robots' actions and prevent any unexpected events. Furthermore, you will have to check three operating systems and quickly fix them once they have problems because these are systems directly related to security, or in other words, directly related to your safety. Once Springtrap enters the office, you will get a jump scare and the game will be over.

What happens after completing five nights at Freddy’s 3?

"The Nightmares" will be unlocked after players beat all five consecutive nights and it will be even harder than ever.
